Each
session is designed to be a comprehensive one week course
teaching students in the development of critical-thinking
skills and advanced writing.
Students will learn how to:

Brainstorm specific, relevant outside information (SFI)
Decode and analyze primary documents
Evaluate grouping of primary documents
Create outlines
Formulate topic sentences
Allocate documents to prompt and thesis
Synthesize and tie SFI to documents
Develop effective transitions
Edit, edit, edit
Integrate themes to formulate a dynamic position |
